Reliquaire is renowned for its eclectic wonderland of dolls, teddies, jewellery, soaps & candles, handbags & clothing, Venetian masks, cookbooks, puppets, games, science & education, Tasmanian produce, homemade fudge, leadlight lamps, bronze statues, restoration supplies and antique furniture.
Local Tasmanians and ex-science teachers, Kim and Sylvia Christie, gradually restored the 1870s built hotel that housed Reliquaire over 22 years until sadly it was destroyed by fire on Christmas Eve 2015.
They have started rebuilding on the original site, and will be due to move in late 2017! We currently have a temporary shop 100m off the main street at 14 Hamilton St Latrobe, with eight rooms & a sit-down coffee area serving locally roasted Villino coffee, tea, hot chocolates & homemade fudge, cookies & slices!
We are still able to order in most things we previously had including hardware supplies, so please pop in, call us (03 6426 2599) or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your enquiry. Please follow us on Facebook
or Instagram (@reliquairelatrobe) for updates.
